ZWISCHENSPIEL in the special collections’ room

Tuesday, 16. April, 2019
Before integrating what was previously used as office space of the museum into housing new themes of our permanent exhibition, we have converted these areas temporarily into exhibition space that you can actually enter. ZWISCHENSPIEL (INTERLUDE) invites you to play classics from the arcade era such as Xevious (1982) by Japanese developer Namco (JP) and Paperboy (1984) published by Atari Games (USA). You can also experience the new PONG-machine rebuilt by Wolfgang Nake (GER) in 2016 or PENTA-PONG (2007) from Dekalko Studio/ Djeff Regottaz & Michel Davidov (F). Up to five people can engage in a game of PONG. Another option is to practise on your own or to compete against our PENTA-PONG machine that can simulate up to four opponents.

We want to thank our visitors whose donations have enabled us to purchase these exhibits.
